Can you fall asleep on the kitchen floor?
Since the birth of Nugo I have been struggling with his sleep and I have read everything possible on baby sleep. I agree with one mother who wrote that "sleeping like a baby" is the biggest myth in the world history.
Yesterday I was talking to my doula on baby sleep-training and she gave me the comparison that a baby who falls asleep while nursing and wakes up in his bed feels the same as you if you fell asleep in your bed but would wake up on the kitchen floor. So, I answered, would anybody enjoy to be put on the kitchen floor and told to sleep?
